Wireless Technical Architect
in North Carolina(NC)
Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 12+ months
Responsibilities:
Client PMO is seeking to hire an expert level Wireless Technical
Architect for the Infrastructure Project. This position requires
hands-on, current, extensive experience with WiFi, VHF, UHF, and
RFID wireless environments. This position will require design,
configuration and implementation of wireless Information
Technology consultative background, wireless technical
architecture support and business case short and long term
financial cost benefit analyses of a complete LAN/WLAN network
infrastructures. Candidate will be the technical managerial lead
on large, complex automation/IT infrastructure implementation
projects. In the Architect role, the candidate will oversee
complete design, provide leadership to others including third
party vendor engineers and construction staff using current,
relevant industry best practices.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Technical analysis and detailed documentation of the current
“as-built†environments, both the application and network
- Performing industry research to define/quantify a fully
integrated solution and to assess the most appropriate technology
applications to support business requirements
- Serving as technical point of contact for wireless gathering,
review, validation and documentation of the business, functional,
technical requirements, architecture design and security
architecture
- Providing knowledge of greenfield construction processes
including technical architecture design, configuration,
installation, and implementation
- Reviewing and assisting the project manager with technical work
breakdown structures and technical cost estimation
- Developing business case cost benefit analysis for wireless and
other technical infrastructures
- Reviewing and recommending various application implementation
and integration approaches
- Creating technical documentation and training materials
- Experience in hands-on technical consulting roles and working
with and presenting to business clients where needed.
- Extensive skills in “State of the Art†technologies and an
in-depth understanding of technical architectures, hardware
platforms, and the North Carolina Statewide Technical
