Position: Website designer - SharePoint (UX/UI)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration : 6+ Month

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform user-centered research, design, and analysis for a
wide range of business sites and applications.
• Translate business strategies into requirements, test
results, user feedback, and company standards into user interface
• Document processes, user flows, and site navigation.
• Define detailed page-level interactions in documentation in a
wide range of media (such as wireframes, comps, interactive
prototypes, and video).
• Develop and communicate documentation to business owners,
team members, and others.
• Conduct usability research and tests.
• Produce graphics and apply defined branding guidelines.
• Evaluate emerging UX trends, tools, and technologies, and
maintain a general awareness of the field.
• Collaborate with a team of other information architects,
developers, researchers, and usability specialists.
• Ensure development team efforts are in sync with the client's
business goals, expectations and budget.
• Partner with our development team to ensure technical
feasibility and successful implementation.

Position Requirements/Skills/Qualifications (required)
• 5-7 years of experience in user experience (UX) design, with
strong knowledge of information architecture and user interface (UI)
design and development.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with SharePoint 2010; 1 year
with SP2013.
• Significant experience with advanced UI patterns; knowledge
of UX best practices, and responsive design behavior; proficiency with
design tools.
• Significant experience using web technologies like HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, jQuery, and others to design the look and feel for complex
SharePoint sites.
• Experience with using SharePoint as a designer, creating
pages, and using Web parts, including data, content, and supporting
• Solid understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices
• Strong communications and writing skills to transfer
information to and communicate with individuals involved in the
development process and project owners.
• Ability to work in a team environment that requires quick
turnaround and high quality output.
• Must submit a portfolio showcasing projects where candidate
delivered the above
